Taking cognizance of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Communiqué in respect of the Main Examination for General Recruitment to the Posts of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector in the Department of Transport scheduled to be conducted , we would like to briefly state with respect to Eligibility Criteria, Procedure for Selection, Probable Syllabus Contents for Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors In Transport Department (General Recruitment) 2020 in the subsequent Paragraphs.
Online Registration with reference to Public Service Commission, Andhra Pradesh Notification likely in the First Week of September 2020 shall remain active as per the Dates published in the Online Notification.
PSCAP Asst Motor Vehicle Inspector in Transport Department 2020 – e-Admit Cards Download:
Public Service Commission, Andhra Pradesh shall release the e-Hall Examination Tickets 07 Days prior to the Objective Type of Main Examination (Computer Based Recruitment Test / Written Examination) comprising the Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.
The General / Un-Reserved / Open Category Candidates should have attained Minimum 21 Years & must not exceed Maximum 34 Years.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limitation for Reserved Candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh State are advised to carefully read the Notification set to be released very soon.

|Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors (AMVIs) in Transport Department||The Candidates must
have in possession Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering awarded by any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or any Equivalent Qualification.
hold Diploma in Automobile Engineering (DAE) issued by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (STBET), or Technological Diploma Examination Board (TDEB), Hyderabad or Any other Equivalent Qualification
hold a Heavy Motor Driving License (HMDL) and have Experience in driving Motor Vehicles for a period of Minimum 03 (Three) Years and possess Heavy Transport Vehicle Endorsement (HTVE). Provided that where persons with Three (03) Years’ Experience in driving Motor Vehicles are not available, persons with Two (02) Years’ Experience in driving Motor Vehicles may be appointed.
Provided further in case of Women, they must hold a Motor Vehicle Driving License (MVDL), if they have in possession of Light Motor Vehicle Driving License only, they shall acquire the Heavy Transport Vehicle Endorsement within 02 (Two) Years of their joining the Service as Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector (AMVI), failing which their Services may lead to TERMINATION without assigning any reasons.

Mode of Online Fee Payment 2020 (In case not Revised):
Through SBI e-Pay
(Remittance of Fee) Each Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred & Fifty Only) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the Applicants have to pay Rs.120/- (Rupees One Hundred & Twenty Only) towards Examination Fee. However, the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Classes & Ex-Services Men and Unemployed Applicants Candidates are exempted from Payment of Examination Fee.
However, the Unemployed Applicants in the Age Group of 21 to 34 Years (They have to submit Declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are Unemployed).
N.B.: Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes belonging to other States are not exempted from Payment of Examination Fee and they are not entitled for claiming any kind of Reservation.
