Directorate General of Employment & Training Kerala  is going to state with reference to the NCVT / SCVT / COE (Matric Trade) Admission for the Academic Year 2019– 20 offered in the Industrial Training Institutes by the Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGET) and Industrial Training Department in the subsequent Paragraphs.

We look to the Industrial Training Department (ITD) to release soon Notification in compliance with the Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurship, Directorate General of Employment & Training for admission into National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) / State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) and Center of Excellence (CoE).

Admission Application/ Submission of the Application Form accompanied by the Documents, Certificates and other Testimonials as might be sought by Industrial Training Department shall commence shortly.

Applying Process for Admission into Matric and Post-Industrial Training Institute Courses shall begin very shortly.  Industrial Training Department would upload both Admission Prospectus and Application Forms in concurrence with Notification Issuance. Even as First Alert in concurrence with the Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurship and Industrial Training Department. The Candidates keen to seek admission into National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) and Center of Excellence (CoE)

Post-Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Course

Post Industrial Training Institute Courses are conducted in 13 Industrial Training Institutes with a motive to give intensive training to the Industrial Training Institute Passed Trainees in the Trades of the Mechanical Radio & Television (MRTV), Mechanical Refrigeration & Air-Conditioner (MRAC) and Plumber. At present, every year, this Course starts from January.

Application Form for Admission into Post ITI Courses:
Evening Classes:

With an intention to upgrade the Skills of the Workers in various Industries, this Department has been conducting Evening classes in the ITI’s at Chackai (Trivandrum District), Kalamassery (Ernakulum District) and Kozhikode in the Trades Electrician, Fitter and Welder. The Successful Workers may directly appear for the All India Trade Test (AITT) conducted by the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labor, New Delhi.

Advanced Vocational Training Scheme (AVTS):

Two AVTS’s at Kalamassery and Trivandrum are functioning with the intention to give Advanced Training to the Industrial Workers to update the Skills in Modern Technology and Machinery. Short-Term Training in T.V. Technician and Auto Electrician Courses are imparted at AVTS, Trivandrum. AVTS, Kalamassery conducts Short-Term Courses having 04 to 12 Weeks Duration in Six different Trades.
