ITPB HC Admit Card 2020, Head Ministerial HCM Exam Date:

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police shall be issue Admit cards to appear in Recruitment Test. The Date and Place of the Competitive Recruitment Test will be indicated in the Admit Card issued to the Candidate. The Candidates will have to undergo the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Notified Tests. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) will shortly the Dates both for OMR Based Written Examination and e-Admit Cards Downloading.

In view of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Notification Assistant Sub-Inspector/Stenographer (Direct Entry) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police” or for the Post of Head Constable / Combatant Ministerial (Direct Entry) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police” for Recruitment to the Posts Assistant Sub-Inspector / Stenographer (Direct Entry) / Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) (Departmental) / Head Constable / Combatant Ministerial (Direct Entry) Head Constable / Combatant Ministerial (Departmental) including Vacancies are reserved for Ex-Service Men Candidates in the respective Categories except Vacancies advertised for the Posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector / Stenographer (Departmental) and Head Constable / Combatant Ministerial (Departmental) above,

we anticipate the Ministry of Home Affairs, Indo-Tibetan Border Police to release the e-Admit Cards for the Candidates likely to appear in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test for which a Date is likely to be declare very soon.

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Ministry of Home Affairs shall upload the electronic Admittance Cards for the Candidates only on the Official Website only and First Alert shall be put up for display on our Website for the ready reference of the Candidates.

Selection Procedure / Criteria:

For Assistant Sub-Inspector /   Stenographer (Direct Entry & Departmental Candidates):

a) Height Bar Test:

At the very beginning of the Recruitment Process, the Candidates shall be asked to go through the Height Bar Test. The Candidates not meeting the prescribed Height shall be eliminated.

b) Race:

The Candidates, who qualify the Height Bar Test, shall be subjected to qualify 1.6 Kms Race to be completed within 10 Minutes (for Male) and 12 Minutes (for Female) Candidates before appearing for further Tests. No Marks will be awarded for this Test and it will be only Qualifying in nature.

Departmental Candidates and Ex-Service Men will not to appear in the event of Race.

c) Checking of Documents:

The Original Documents of the Candidates, who qualify the Race, will be checked out for Verification by the Board. The Original Documents will be returned to the Candidates on the spot after Verification and Xerox / Photostat will be retained with the Application Form. Those who clear this Stage will have to undergo for Physical Standard Test (PST).

d) Physical Standard Test (PST):

The Candidates found Eligible in Documentation will be screened for Height, Chest (Chest Measurement for Male Candidates only) and Weight Measurements by the Board.

Those who do not meet the required Physical Measurements shall be eliminated at this stage.

e) Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination (100 Marks):  

The Candidates qualified in PST shall be required to pass the Competitive Written Examination comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Sheet consisting of the following:

Theoretical Knowledge of Computer 1 x 10 = 10 10

i) Minimum Qualifying Marks to be secured by the Candidates shall be 35% in case of the General Candidates & Ex-Servicemen and 33% for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Class in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination.

Only 20 Times Qualified Candidates (Direct Entry) in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test will be called for Skill Test on the basis of Merit in each Category.

ii) The Candidates shall be required to answer in Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Sheet which will be signed both by the Candidate and the Invigilator.

iii) The Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Sheet based Written Test shall be processed / scanned in an Electronic Machine. Any Wrong Entry of Examination Roll Number, Name, Test Question Booklet Number, TQB Paper Series, etc., shall render the Optical Mark Recognition Based Answer Sheet Invalid and the same shall not be evaluated. The Candidates concerned shall be held responsible for such mistake on their part.

iv) The Candidates will be allowed to keep / take the Test Question Booklet Paper after completion of Examination.

f) Skill Test (20 Marks):

The Candidates, who qualify the above OMR Based Written Examination, shall be required to appear in the Skill Test, i.e., Shorthand and Typewriting Test as given here under:

i) Dictation: 10 Minutes @ 80 Words Per Minute (English or Hindi).

ii) Dictation Transcription: 50 Minutes in English on Computer; or 65 Minutes in Hindi on the Computer.

g) Merit List Preparation:

The Merit Lists in each Category, viz., General, Scheduled Caste , Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes and Ex-Service Men shall be drawn up on the basis of the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination and Skill Test.

(2) For Head Constable/Combatant Ministerial (Direct Entry & Departmental)

The Eligible Candidates shall be issued Admit cards to appear in Recruitment Test. The Date and Place of the Competitive Recruitment Test will be indicated in the Admit Card issued to the Candidate. The Candidates will have to undergo the following Tests:

Stages Interpretation
a)       Checking out of the Documents for Verification of the Authenticity The Candidates will be required to produce the Original and Attested photocopies of the Documents related to his/her Academic Educational Qualification, Date of Birth, etc., as mentioned in the Advertisement. The Original Documents will be returned to the Candidate on the spot after Verification.
   
b) Physical Standard Test (PST) The Candidates found Eligible in Document Verification / Documentation will be screened for Height, Chest and Weight Measurements by the Board. Those who do not meet with the required Physical Measurements will be eliminated at this Stage.
   
c) Written Examination (100 Marks) As mentioned in the Latter Table.
   

The Candidates declared Qualified in the Physical Standard Test will be required to pass the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination containing the Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type / Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions therein consisting of following:

Note:

(Minimum Speed of 35 Words Per Minute in English Typewriting or Minimum Speed of 30 Words Per Minute in Hindi Typewriting only on Computer. Time allowed 10 minutes) (35 W.P.M. and 30 W.P.M. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an Average of 05 Key Depressions for each Word).

ii) English Typewriting will be conducted in ‘Times New Roman’ Font only and Hindi Typewriting will be conducted either on Remington or In-Script Key Board in Unicode Encoding Compliant Font ‘Mangal’ only.

f) Skill Test (20 Marks):

The Candidates, who qualify the above OMR Based Written Examination, shall be required to appear in the Skill Test, i.e., Shorthand and Typewriting Test as given here under:

Detailed Medical Examination:

The Candidates shortlisted in order of Merit in each Category will be put through Detailed Medical Examination to assess their Fitness as per Medical Policy of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

g) Merit List Preparation:

The Merit Lists in each Category, viz., General, Scheduled Caste , Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes and Ex-Service Men shall be drawn up on the basis of the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination and Skill Test.
